33 Architecture was formed out of our desire to provide a service which both offered and delivered a high level of quality and comfort in all aspects of architecture and interiors, regardless of scale. Our passion is designing for people which is achieved through our thoughtful design approach, attention to detail and friendly but professional client relations.
We undertake each project with a fresh approach; every brief is unique in our eyes. The result is a design and delivery service which produces bespoke architectural solutions whether it is for domestic clients seeking to improve their lifestyle through their accommodation or for a business or developer aiming to create a scheme on a greater scale. Each scheme seeks to be sensitive to its context and provide a functional product which does not compromise on comfort, whilst being a cost effective solution to each clients brief.
With communications allowing more geographical flexibility, 33 Architecture have been involved with projects across the UK, with a strong presence in the North East and Sheffield. Through working in various regions we believe we have a greater knowledge and understanding of the varying needs of the client.
Our background includes delivering architecture for the care sector, as well as commercial and residential. At 33 Architecture we are passionate about revolutionising architecture for the next generation, particularly removing the stigma and stereotype of care facilities and creating places and spaces familiar to the increasing elderly population. We hope to do this through architecture, research and education.
Ollie is the founder and director of 33 Architecture. He studied Architecture at Northumbria University and has spent time in two of the North East’s most active architecture practices, providing him with in-depth experience from the inception of a project through to its completion.
Through his personal and considered approach to a project, he has learnt that a successful project is derived from one key factor; attention to detail. Whether providing a feasibility study or designing bespoke architectural features, it is the attention to detail that result in successful projects and the joy users experience in these spaces.
As well as providing architectural services, Ollie has a good network of clients, consultants and funders which allows him to assist in bringing together a team that can deliver a project in its entirety. From land acquisition through to selling the completed development, 33 Architecture can help all clients, large and small, public or private, achieve their goals.
Away from business Ollie is keen to indulge a number of hobbies; actively participating in motorsport, he regularly competes, organises and spectates at rallying events. He is a previous Chairman for Whickham and District Motor Club, one of the UK’s largest and most active. He enjoys numerous sports including tennis, fell running, golf and generally most other activities in the great outdoors. As a fairly active person, he counter balances exercise by enjoying good food and drink.
